Re: New AD
I am a fan of this hire. Seems like Watson has done alot of good things at St. Bonaventure. Here is to hoping he gets the backing he needs to succeed.

Re: New AD
And another thing !! Maybe he gets to hire a really really good SPORTS INFORMATION DIRECTOR --
Example , how come we herar -read- this on RAMBLERMANIA and then the Bradford paper ?? Nothing yet from LUC Athletic site nor the TRIB !! As always ---LATE, if at all.
Maybe things such as this will now change !!!

Is this the 6'8" guy without academic baggage that we've all been hoping for? His resume suggests he should have a good idea of what it will take to get the job done here. He must think so to leave a comfortable job in the area where he grew up. I'm hopeful. Welcome Steve.

Re: New AD
It's interesting that Garanzini is quoted in the press release for Watson's hire, unlike the presser for Calhoun.

Might be reading too much into this, but it might reflect the higher priority Garanzini is putting on athletics now.

Saw this come across my twitter feed and at first didn't realize it was Loyola news. Woj is perhaps the most well-respected NBA scribe in the business so it's interesting to see him chime in.
