Just back from the ISU/Country Financial Invitational at Weibring Golf Course at ISU. It was unbelieveably cold for Sept. 12, cloudy, windy, and a few raindrops that made the course soft and slippery in some places.
Loyola's Sam Penzenstadler finished 2nd overall on the men's side, about six seconds behind Indiana State's John Mascari. As a team, Loyola finished fifth behind Iowa, Indiana State, North Central and Illinois State-- ahead of DePaul and UIC.
The women's team finished fourth, behind Illinois, Iowa, and Illinois State-- ahead of Indiana State, DePaul, and UIC.
