Inaugural MVC Home Game vs MSU

Well, despite our team's, er, inconsistent play to open the season, I'm looking forward to Sunday.

Missouri State has played pretty well, but they have not been great on the offensive glass (290th in D1 according to Pomeroy's OR%), so maybe we will have a chance to control the ball.

Hoping to see a good crowd and a good game!

Should be a good first trip to Chicago for the Bears. Not sure how many MSU fans will make the game hopefully a couple hundred.

I was definitely going to be there, but the snow, the -10 forecast high for Monday, and some important meetings downstate on Tuesday have lowered the possibility to around 50-50. I might be able to wrap up some obligations tonight, and if the Ramblers can knock off #3 BYU in volleyball I might get psyched up enough to brave anything.

In the meantime-- for those who will be making the trip-- here are directions, ticket prices, parking info, etc.

MSU is a 2 to 3 point favorite in Vegas.

UPDATE: This is not listed where I could find it on the official Loyola site, but according to a tweet from Derrick Docket (@ddocket), social media guy from the MVC, the game will be televised online by ESPN3. Here is the link:

Good thing it's on ESPN3...not going to be many people heading to RoPo this afternoon (us included)
