Loyola & Marquee Announce Partnership

Post by RamblerRagas »

Per today's email -

Loyola Chicago Athletics and Marquee Sports Network today announced a broadcast partnership, bringing Rambler sporting events to fans across the region through Marquee Sports Network and the Marquee Sports Network App. The broadcast partnership will include select home events for the men’s and women’s Rambler basketball programs and all home men’s volleyball matches.
Marquee Sports Network is the exclusive home of the Chicago Cubs and a broadcast partner of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Red Stars and Chicago Sky. Marquee Sports Network is available as part of a traditional cable or streaming package, or as a standalone subscription offering through WatchMarquee.com and the Marquee Sports Network App. For availability in your area, visit MarqueeSportsNetwork.com/Providers.

Rambler fans can tune in to Marquee Sports Network and the Marquee Sports Network App for all non-nationally televised men’s basketball games, two women’s basketball games, and the entire men’s volleyball home slate, which will be announced later this year.
“We’re excited about our new partnership with Marquee Sports Network, giving Rambler fans an opportunity to tune into our athletic events away from Gentile Arena,” said Loyola Athletic Director Steve Watson. “We look forward to showcasing our talented student-athletes across Marquee Sports Network’s platforms this season.”

“Loyola is one of the premier institutions in Chicago and the Midwest and we couldn’t be more thrilled to feature the Ramblers on Marquee Sports Network,” said Marquee Sports Network General Manager, Diane Penny. “With a passionate fanbase and a history of success, we’re sure this will be a terrific partnership between Loyola and Marquee.”

Marquee Sports Network will air its first Loyola event on Nov. 4 as the men’s basketball team hosts Chicago State at Gentile Arena to open the 2024-25 campaign. For the full schedule of upcoming events on Marquee Sports Network, visit MarqueeSportsNetwork.com/Loyola or the schedule pages at LoyolaRamblers.com.

The way things are progressing…or not progressing between Comcast and the new Chicago sports network, this seems like a good move.

My same thoughts after reading this announcement.

Glad there was a backup plan.....

Between the broadcasts on CBS Sports, USA, ESPN (Friday nights), and ESPN+ road games, we've got a good variety of coverage. Marquee Sports for the home games is just the dessert, if you get it and can watch it.

Wonder who announces them for Marquee? Might miss hearing Jordan Bernfield and Chris Sparks.

So it's safe to assume road games not nationally broadcasted will be on ESPN+?
