Did anyone see Tom Creen on the NIT Selection Show? He absolutely lit up the Coaches from the teams that declined the NIT Invite. He was very passionate.

Interesting USA Today read on the NIT.

From the article: "But the NCAA was spooked by news that the Big East, Big 12 and Big Ten were in conversations with Fox, their television partner, to hold a 16-team postseason event in Las Vegas that would essentially be a direct competitor with the NIT."

USA Today: NIT is practically obsolete as more teams just blow it off. Blame the NCAA.

Thanks for posting the links.
It makes the NIT seem even worse than I thought it was.

Too many fires going on at the same time.

It is a good thing that Drew is a young man.
Not too sure these older coaches are handling things as well as they want to be handling things.
