What happens if SIU beats UNI today?
They'd then have the tiebreaker over UNI after beating them 2/2 times.
UNI has the NET advantage over us, but we have the NET advantage over SIU...
So who is the 1 seed if it stays that way all the way through the end of the year?

Here is the Conference Tie Breaker System:

For a three way tie, it goes to a mini round robin among the three teams, then NET if necessary. I'll let you plug in the numbers.

If SIU wins today, and then UNI/SIU/Loyola all win their final 2 games, SIU would have the 1 seed, we would have the 2 and UNI would have the 3 based on round robin:
1. SIU 3-1
2. Loyola 2-2
3. UNI 1-3
Now that would be crazy.

I wouldn’t mind that scenario for two reasons:
(1) I’m half Saluki, and always root for a Loyola/SIU matchup; and
(2) It would absolutely make heads explode for a lot of other teams seeing us back up there in a “rebuild” year, along with SIU in that position after only one year of Mullins and crew rebuilding.
