Strength of schedule. We also do not have any big road wins. That's pretty much it. While we have played a few "name" schools, they aren't really great wins in terms of strength of schedule. San Diego State has lost two games since we beat them last week, to two not-so-great schools. Our schedule rating is not good right now.

Thanks Grad , I think !!!
Re: RPI ??????????
Three of the teams we've played haven't won a single D1 game this year-- Alcorn State, Oral Roberts and Norfolk State are a combined 0-22. And only Wright State and NC State are over .500.

Re: RPI ??????????
WELL I guess I had better to beware what i wish for. It seems that I had been wailing for NAMES when we were sloshing around playing nobodies !! I do remember saing to just play better conferences no matter who in that conf we played. Well this year we have done just that--see NCST, Oral Roberts, Toledo Washington St Saint Joe (Philly) SDS (they were good til we smacked them.
OK we are doing well against these--so now we are a good team so Porter should beef up schedule again==say some A-7 big 10 etc !! We have earned these upgrades--AND if I were in charge Sister schools such as MARQ GTN and X would NOT be on our sched. They arrogantly thought they were not to be bothered with the likes of us !! Purdue Minnesota St Johns Texas Tulsa Kan St et al Mich St would be nice--We would not win them all but we could run with them NOW How about St Bonny Duquesne Iowa St Boston College and a dream tour of Jesuit partners La Mary, Santa Clara SFO and maybe Seattle and Gonzaga Pick a three gamer out of these !!

Just keep winning Ramblers!
Re: RPI ??????????
Hopefully we have a more competive schedule next year. In someways it can be considered a good thing they didn't play a gauntlet of a non-con with all the newcomers. That said NC State and St Joe's aren't bad and Milwaukee might have been better if they didn't fire their coach. Overall, I like the direction we are heading and nonetheless think we will make some noise in conference play.

RPI is pretty meaningless until the mid of the conference season. Since its based on 25% Your W/L, 50% your opponents W/L, and 25% your opponents opponents W/L.
On a bright side, you guys received 1 vote in the AP 25 today. Someone put you in their Top 25. That's definitely progress and not something I would have expected coming into this season. Great job.

Well that is unexpected...
Any of our Rambler historians remember the last time we received a vote in the AP top 25?
