Set vcr for this Sunday the 7th for 3pm on NBC as men's Vball team plays. Team includes
LU great Tom Jaeschke.
Nice to see him again.
He gave up his senior year to try to make team. USA gain and LU loss.

Unbelievable. Canada was supposed to be an easy win in Group A play. Now the US has to beat Brazil to advance?

JCT, they don't have to beat Brazil to advance. As long as they beat everyone else and finish 3-2 in pool play, they will advance. I looked up the Olympic results since 2000, and every team that won 3 or more matches moved on. In fact, a couple teams moved on with only 2 wins, but that is a lot harder. Hopefully, the young team got the nerves out of them and will be firing the rest of the tournament!

The match against Italy is going on now. The commentators mentioned Jaeschke as being part of this young group and that he's "out of Loyola" (!!!)

We get a mention! Huzzah!
