NCAA Tournament Round 1
Loyola vs. Pfeiffer
May 5, 2015 8:00 p.m.
Maples Pavilion, Stanford, CA
Pfeiffer cruised through the Conference Carolinas conference as regular season champs and won the league's auto bid. The Falcons had an impressive 21-3 record, playing a starting lineup filled primarily with juniors and only two seniors. Pfeiffer has won their last 11 matches, however they lost their only match against an MIVA team, 3-1 at Ohio State. Their primary players range in height from 5'10" libero Kevin Ecklund to two 6'5" middle hitters (Evan Blair and Fabio Diniz). Pfeiffer has a strong international flavor to their team with a Brazilian (Diniz), a Kiwi (6'4" outside hitter Sonny Hirini), and a Puerto Rican player (6'4" outside hitter Jonathan Martinez) dominating their attacks.

Not a fan of this camera angle they have on the feed
Re: NCAA Tournament Round 1 vs. Pfeiffer
It's pretty clear for me, coming in great. I wonder why, if they're able to have the tracking shots after the point why they're not able to have halfcourt angles. The games we played at Stanford to begin the season had the same angles.
Ramblers look a little out of sync. Maybe having a play in might work to an advantage with the freshmen playing. The service errors are maddening. I like this blue court better than the red/magenta court last year.

Happy to see the Ramblers take care of business. That second set was exciting, but a bit too close for comfort! I'd like to see us destroy UC-Irvine soon!
