He's making his decision at some point today, if i had to guess my gut says he's going to Kent State, but who knows. He tweeted about not being able to wear 23 anymore, Kent State has that number filled, so do we (George Mason does not so i assume he doesn't end up there).

Good reporting, and perfect guess. He committed to Kent State:

Wow! That was right on cue haha; I'm gonna add it to my resume as i get ready to apply for the "Ramblermania Recruiting Coordinator" position.

Honestly while Frederick was a nice player based on social media alone, I don't know that he'd be the best fit with the team. Obviously stuff like that is only a snapshot of a person, but his wasn't always the smartest snapshot to have out in public. I wouldn't be surprised if Kent has him delete his twitter profile.

Charlie Moore is reportedly transferring to Kansas. We likely had very little shot, but it really has to sting for Illini, DePaul, and Northwestern that he'd rather sit out a year at Kansas than be able to play right away if he would've tranferred close to his father.

Good!

FWIW, I think our roster is set for 17-18. Tyson was at the bball banquet and nothing seemed amiss... it was fairly clear we were looking to sign two guys (which we've done now). Guessing the offer to the Aussie is for 18-19.

Does this represent the Dawning of the Age of Adarius?

And the age of Adarius coincides for one year with Custer's last stand.

It kind of stings for the B1G teams, but NU probably views him as a luxury for the team that's already supposed to go deep in the tournament next year. U of I recovered nicely getting a commit for Mark Smith. Thankfully, DePaul continues to stay in it's own way. :D

I think it could coincide with 2 years' worth of Custer last stands. Both him and Townes will probably be eligible to transfer and play immediately, but there are plenty of things that will factor into that decision that will still be hashed out over the course of the next 10 or 11 months. Even keeping those guys though, we still will have 4 scholarships to fill, and (although this is starting to bleed into the other thread's territory) I think the Aussie kid would be a 2018 prospect for us. Despite facing a lesser culture/language transition than some of our other international players, he could benefit from a year at prep school. It might not be the 3 miles between Sunrise Christian and WSU, but La Lumiere wouldn't be a terrible option to place a couple of kids.

Big News:

Rumor coming out of some managers and some guys on the team is that Matt Chastain is transferring and that Tyson is gone too. Not positive about any of this, but seems to be what people close to the program are at least talking about. Sad to see both of them go if that's true. I hope its not.
