In an earlier version of the web page, the geniuses at Get Real Sport Sales even got the mascot wrong.
Instead of LU Wolf, they had LU Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart:

12 was right on the money when he predicted the offending photo would be pulled before c/o/b Friday.

The new photo is of Piper Hall, which anybody who is familiar with Loyola history knows was part of Mundelein, not Loyola, until the Bundles bade bon voyage in 91. It is hardly an iconic Loyola building.
I think what the geniuses at Get Real Sport Sales were going for was this shot:
But they failed to anticipate that the Loyola sign would be blocked out by the superimposing images on their web page.

I assume they can still read it though.
I miss B...
As much as Sports Information people (and their supervisors in the Athletic Department) don't like it, it is nearly impossible to have a modern Division I athletic program without a thriving message board disseminating information that needs to be known by fans and supporters. I can't think of a single example where a Division I program has thrived in this environment without some sort of well-guided outlet for fans. Well-funded and well-staffed attempts have been made by official organizations to circumvent the message board phenomenon over and over again, but they've fallen flat. Remember when the MCC/Horizon tried it?
The reason I came back to this role is because I couldn't stand the idea that Loyola's move to the MVC might be stunted by a disorganized and insufficient effort to fit in to the fan interaction that makes the MVC such a great conference. I've been through it before, and I know what to expect.
By the way, has everyone with a free Twitter account followed @RamblersMVC? If not, why haven't you joined yet?
Anyway, I have been a big mouth about Loyola doing something dramatic, like joining another conference, for years. It would be cowardly and cheap in character if I didn't do something substantial to help make it successful.

Is @RamblersMVC the official twitter handle of Ramblermania? Perhaps a 'twitter handles to follow' thread would be of value.
