Yes, the board style changed. I recently undertook the long (13 years but who's counting) overdue task of moving Ramblermania to a new server with modern features that actually allow us to update the main site's Wordpress installation and the phpBB installation that runs the message board.
The bad news: the migration meant we lost our board customizations. The look and feel is back to basics for now, and we're working on making it feel like home again. I don't like the way it looks right now, but the board itself was so out of date that the old styling isn't even compatible with the new version — so we're starting fresh whether we like it or not.
The good news: pretty much everything else is better.
We gained faster load times, improved security, a spam filter that actually works, better search, easier account management, and — perhaps most excitingly — a layout that works on your phone. Yes, you can now browse and post from a mobile device without pinching and zooming. Welcome to 2014!
