Re: Class of 2021
I think we're done recruiting HS players for 2021. Perhaps we'll fill the spots with transfers.ahunte1 wrote:I'm interested to see if we're still out there making 2021 offers. We technically have two more scholarships available. Even though the potentially returning seniors wouldn't count, we could see two of them back, which would give us the normal 13 scholarship players. And by the way, we would have an awesome roster.Dansen wrote: While I full expect some seniors to come back, even if they don’t I’m very happy with the roster next year and the future of the program.
Valentine started following this '22 forward on Twitter, suspect we'll get involved with him. https://www.verbalcommits.com/players/jacob-conner

they are going to be pretty short at the starting guard position if it is Norris and Kennedy01grad wrote:When is the last time we’ve had this much potential size at guard? Not just one player, but multiple. The program is truly reaching new heights.

If Clemons isn’t coming back, we are in need of a backup point guard.
Re: Class of 2021
Amen! But I still need help. How are you counting last year, e.g., shouldn't Kennedy have 3 years left because 20-21 doesn't count?25yearstreak wrote:Ahunte1:
You should copyright the scholarship chart or at least be an unofficial assistant to Coach Valentine. I know I could not keep it all straight. Your efforts are appreciated.

Yeah, I think he does. Same for Welch and Paxson, right? I was just planning to deal with that two years from now.Scream wrote:Amen! But I still need help. How are you counting last year, e.g., shouldn't Kennedy have 3 years left because 20-21 doesn't count?25yearstreak wrote:Ahunte1:

I am open to suggestions though. I don't understand the effects of the rule well enough.

Just read a report that NCAA voted to remove the sit-one-year rule for transfers next year. Anybody else concerned about this (Norris, Kennedy, Welch)?

No, the players are engaged on social and in marketing materials etc. from the team. Theyre Ramblers, we can all relax a bit and start looking forward to the season!
