Our old friend Pat Kraft fired his coach at BC.

BC getting some negative pushback for firing a coach during such a crazy season. One of the things coaches probably consider is how much patience and job security a school has. This isn’t the greatest look for that.

The implication is Porter to BC.

But is BC really a quantum jump up from Loyola just because of their conference affiliation? I'm not sure.

The implication is that the coaching carousel/Porter leaving rumor mill has officially started anew.

I think PM will listen to any P5 program solely because of the crunch that mid majors are facing in the CBB landscape. I do think that to actually accept a job and leave, he’ll have to be supremely happy not just with the prestige of the job but also with his future bosses at that university. If he thinks for a second that they’re not 100% behind him, he’ll turn it down like St. John’s.

There’s an up and coming, albeit maybe a little controversial, coach at Iona who I wouldn’t be shocked if they considered.

Also, Michigan’s former coach might be an option.

Does Porter have a good relationship with Pat Kraft? I know he was here when Porter started. If their relationship is or isn’t still good, you gotta think how BC handled this will play into any consideration he gives to the job.

I think so? I’m pretty sure Pat Kraft was here when PM got his first extension after year 2.

Also I find it hard to believe Kraft would want to bring on Pitino lol
