Making the NCAA Tournament isn’t “magical” for a MVC team - going to the Final Four is. Glad to know DePaul’s goal isn’t to win the Big East - just finish in the top half of it. I find their arrogance infuriating and cluelessness quite amusing.

I was confused by her quote. She said DePaul's path is "different" than ours--which, to me, implies that theirs is more difficult. But then she says that the Big East sends five or six teams every year. Which, to me, makes it sounds easier. I think it was meant as a shot at us and excuse for them.

Hilarious. I'm going out on a limb and will say it's a bit easier to make the tournament from the Big East. And spend $6M on basketball.

We did it !! DePewl did not !! The problem with them is that they are in the wrong conference--We are not !! Their record in the Big East is dismal and has been.
We on the other hand have steadily improved while in the Valley !!--I venture to say we will be atop a fine conference for a long time. I venture to say VALPO Evansville and LUC will be tops for this coming year. DePEWL ??? Buried once again in a great league. They are so over-matched it is sad except then I realize it is DEPEWL.
Now then we do NOT need DEPEWL nor NW BUT to fill Gentile I* would suggest we go back to the bad old days and schedule St John's Gtn BC and ILLINOIS with help from our MEDIA with them---Then add Gonzaga SFO Detroit Tulane ND, the other LOYOLAS and others like the foregoing--REMEMBER we earned our NEW spot--Some teams will want to play us--home and home I wager. Moser and Watson will see to it I am sure !!!
I love our new position and let us face it FOR NOW the CHICAGO Media loves us !!
