I didn't come here to start an argument--sorry if it seems that way with the content of this post--but I thought it was really unprofessional of Muller to taunt WSU (and Marshall, presumably, since there is no love lost between them, apparently) like that. First, WSU made the right move for them: they did not want to be in the position of having a record similar to yours this year and still having to win the MVC tourney to get a bid (something you Ramblers fans will no doubt understand). Mission accomplished on that front. Second, taunting is always a crap thing to do, but Muller's taunting is particularly weasel-like, seeing as how he has never been to the Dance.

Sorry for getting off topic. Once again, congrats on a terrific season and many thanks for representing the MVC so well. It looks to me as though you will be the class of the Valley for the foreseeable future.

No worries, stldog. Everybody's got their opinions-- I'm kind of in the middle on this. Good natured taunting is for fans, not coaches. But Marshall has been quoted as belittling the MVC before, and Muller was defending the conference and didn't specifically mention WSU by name (could have applied to Creighton as well....).
