Three New 2014 Prospects

Rivals' Loyola page has recently added three new names to our list of 2014 Prospects.

One of them, Micah LittleJohn, a 3 Star shooting guard from Texas, has scheduled an official visit to Loyola for tomorrow, Sept. 6.

The other newly-reported prospects are Jevon Carter and Ben Richardson. Here's the full list:

I hope this recent activity doesn't mean our chances of signing Sean O'Mara are receding...

I haven't seen anything to indicate we won't get a fair shot at O'Mara. I believe his visit is this weekend.

There was a report that Carter committed to West Virginia on his visit there, but that was retracted.

In other recruiting news, 6'4" small forward Dick Littlejohnson is weighing offers from St. Peter's University in New Jersey and Ball State in Indiana. Oral Roberts and Lipscombe have also sent out feelers for the undersized 3. His high school coach, Max Weiner, said that Littlejohnson is looking for the best fit, and would even consider Division 2 schools such as Shorter University.
