George Mason and GW Feb 7 and 10
Fellow Ramblers, Is anyone coming into town for these 2 road games? I'll be at both but on Saturday we will be celebrating my oldest daughters birthday at the GW game. GW wouldn't let me recreate her tricycle race at the Gentile when she was 6. lol Last year at George Mason, we had a good group of ...

Jim Harrick Jr.
Junior passed on Tuesday at his home in San Marcos after battling a glioblastoma brain tumor for 2 1/2 years. He was 58.
Jimmy was an asst for Larry Farmer at LU. Junior was always entertaining and loved hoops. I remember him and his future wife Amy going to see my daughter Hannah in the Joffrey ...

Mental performance coach, strength and conditioning coach
I don't know how to address this at all. A head coach relying on this structure is something I'm not familiar with. Is this an unnecessary layer? Is the solution something very simple? I just don't see a fix at the moment and clearly neither ...

Re: Loyola A10 Transition
I brought 14 people to the game and we sat behind Loyola's bench. We had a great time and GMU runs a great game experience.
There are many problems I saw yesterday.
First: Are the constant questions coming from the floor about who should be guarding who on defense. It happened numerous times even ...

Re: Rooney Stepping Down
No surprise. She was lost from day 1. She did the easy part of trimming costs and staff. The hard part is raising the money needed which she never had a track record of doing. I remember a Phoenix article when she was hired, that her number one goal was a campaign to raise 500MM. So she is leaving ...

Re: PROUD MOM
I was in Las Vegas at a speaking engagement and was able to watch Milt and say hello. Always good to see a fellow Rambler. Summer League games are fun to watch and it was great to see him play. I will say the tough part is not being knowledgeable enough concerning teams needs. Hard to tell who fits ...

Re: Glad its over
There is no mystery why Porter left. LU's offer was less than half of OU. Plain and simple, everything else is noise.

Re: major paradigm shift
Its hard to determine what contracts are in college coaching. LU is a private university and is required to disclose very little to the public. LU is not transparent in its development on any level. What information is disclosed shows LU is way behind in giving rates of alum and we are the largest ...
