I trust that after Bonaventure we're not overlooking this game. I know we're not trap game proof, but I feel good outside of my usual pessimism.

I'd love to be proven wrong, but based on everything I've heard Phil will definitely not have an extra year of eligibility next year. This is his last season.

Re: Secret Scrimmage

Now that we’re starting to hear more about the scrimmage can we get someone to talk about individual performances, turnovers, etc.

Re: Recruiting: Class of 2024

I wouldn't expect much till his 3rd year, needs weight. But...he can shoot it a bit from 3 and has a bunch of upside.

I really hope he works out but it feels like in the era of the transfer portal projects like this are too much of a gamble. I don’t see kids sticking it out at a school where they ...

Re: Secret Scrimmage

According to some tweet that I can't find now we had a scrimmage against SIU. Doesn't say anything about results or individual performances though. Glad to see Brian and Drew are still in contact.

Re: open practice

I'm super excited (and secretly nervous) to see this team play. From what I've heard we can expect to see a lot of growth out of a good deal of the returners (Dawson and Alston seem to be getting the most praise).

I am curious about how Ben's progressed as a player in the offseason. He played great ...

Re: relief on the way

1. I'm excited to see Greg, but I'm hoping Jalen can still manage to get a good amount of playtime.
2/3. Oh boy... I feel like that was a big contributor to all of the turnovers last season, so I'm curious to see how that all plays out.
4. That's a little bit of a bummer. I'd imagine that means we ...

Re: Coaching Staff 23-24

Will be interesting to see if there's a spot on the staff for ol' Clayton next year (or the year after) when Porter is terminated and Custer is again on the job hunt.

Feels very dirty how we were treated here.

From what I've heard the whole staff is proud and excited for Clayton. I don't ...

I think I heard he's stepping away from coaching (could be totally wrong about that).

Re: Maroon & Gold

I'm not so sure Sheldon is a lock to start. From everything I've heard, the coaching staff are really high on Dawson. Sounds like he recovered from his hand injury and put on a good amount of muscle in the off-season.

The same can be said for Schwieger. Schwieger showed a lot of promise last ...
