Update: Since the preview came out, the AVCA National Rankings came out, and Loyola was ranked #10 to start the season.
On Wednesday night to open the season at #3 Hawaii, the Ramblers played well, but Hawaii pulled away at the end of each set, winning 3-0.
However, in the rematch on Friday night, Loyola won a nip-and-tuck match 3-2 for a high quality road win at #3 Hawaii.
