Couple of things !!
--Porter and the Coaches have done a fine job so far with our team--They have their attention, something taht has been lacking in past.

--Kudos to whomever got us into this Tourney and to the Las Vegas folks for accepting us. Too many times in past we have been turned down, not chosen etc--eg the hot shots near us--we know who they are--Marq to name one. Soon the shoe will be on the other foot.

We have not won anything yet BUT we have taken a GIGANTIC step forward.

We've had a lot of similar opportunities in the past, we just blew them all. These guys on the bench are fantastic. When does a guy like Knuth come on to a team like Loyola and perform as well against a Big 12 team? That's some pretty awesome stuff. Add the great performance by Richardson and Peterson, and we've got something going on here.

Right now, I'm imagining ahunte obscured by mountainous piles of chips.

That's a good question Rob. If you would've asked me before the season I would've said what is the point of going out there to watch a savage beating. I was right, just wrong about which team received the beating.

A great win guys.Lady Helen,Angelitis,Streak,Lady Streak,and myself witnessed one of the better performances we will ever see from a Rambler squad.The defense was fantastic.Free throw shooting was awesome.The freshmen-Richardson and Knuth were outstanding.
Lady Helen and myself even cashed in on our $10 bets on Loyola.

Angelitis and I are doing a basketball marathon.We went over to the South Point Arena on Sunday to watch Ark.Little Rock vs. Wis.Green Bay and UC irvine vs Bradley.Then yesterday we showed up to watch all 4 games at The Orleans Arena.We will be doing the same today,culminating with watching the Ramblers play for the championship.10 games in 3 days-i love college hoops,especially Loyola style.
I think Boise can be beat,especially with Drmic out and Marks questionable with a bad ankle.We will see tonight.I will put another bet on Loyola as I am sure Lady Helen will to.

I must be getting senile if I am taking betting tips from Ramblin (don't know who "Lady Helen" is). I couldn't keep up with him and Angelitis but did manage to see two complete and half of two more games yesterday. Gonna give it a try today but may have to sneak out for a nap before the "marquee" game (maybe Angelitis can give me pointers on napping in my seat).

Very exciting game last night - fun watching the bench get significant minutes and making it count. The players at the end of the bench were fun to watch as they were very animmated. The team made their free thows count this timme!

Calculator Lady and I took in a show while Streak took a break to watch football on Sunday.

Little worried about the quote "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas". Don't want the Ramblers to leave their outstanding basketball game here. Let's take it back home and then on the ROAD!
