And isn't strength of schedule supposed to be baked into it? It seems to me citing "strength of schedule" as a reason to discount our NET ranking flies in the face of its rationale and intended use. It's being punished twice for the same offense. Double jeopardy.
Agreed. And I can tell you this .... there’s no doubt in my mind that Gonzaga plays a lesser conference schedule than us ... but if they would have lost to BYU, they wouldn’t have been knocked down to a 4-seed because of their overall strength of schedule is rated 37. They’d still be a 1 seed .... because if metrics.
If we get an 8 seed (which I think we will), I hope it’s in Michigan’s region. I think they are the most beatable in the second round.
