I think UIC will be the toughest of the next three games. They're a loooooong team that just played GCU extremely close at home. Really hoping we have Donte back to help defend Dikembe Dickson and Tai Odiase.


Also taking a longer view I'm somewhat dreading the new years day game against Illinois State. Have a pretty strong feeling there will be a lot of state fans in town for the holiday while students will be on break. If you don't have plans for yet, definitely try to plan a trip with family/friends to Gentile!

What were we picked to finish in the MVC preseason? Looking at everyone's rosters and records so far, it seems to me that we are definitely a top four team this year. I'm still very disappointed we don't have Rajala coming off the bench this year. With Jackson in the front court and our front court subs getting better and better, it would have been nice to have him there for an extra body to work as a committee down low. I'm still very happy with our play thus far though. Does anyone know how Rajala is doing where he went to?

Thanks for the info! Looking at is the stats, if he left purely so that he would get more playing time and a have a chance to score points, he certainly made the right choice. Good for him. I do feel bad we don't have more help download to support Jackson, but I'm very happy with the way we have played thus far.

I just cannot wait until we hit league play so we can see just how good we are.

Time to get this conversation going again!! Also congrats to UIC for taking down DePaul ... well done! I thought UIC looked very athletic or maybe DePaul is just that bad. Either way we can not take them lightly .... Go Ramblers!
