For the past six years, former Loyola radio broadcaster Andy Masur was doing play by play for the San Diego Padres. But in January, his contract was unceremoniously not renewed due to a new executive in the Padres office. Well, today he announced on his blog that he'll be returning to Chicago to do work with the Cubs and Blackhawks on WGN.

I know that spot. It's a little south of Rainbow Beach where U.S. Steel South Works used to be.
