So I wasted 1.50 on the Chicago Trib today...all ready to have some coffee....delay all the things on the TODO List and read about the inaugural Loyola venture into Arch Madness aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand NOTHING. Not one lousy word about LU playing Bradley tonight. Bill Jauss would never have let this happen.
Seriously how can this be? St. Charles N vs St. Charles E got 6 paragraphs and it wasnt even a Regional Final game??
Someone has to be working harder than this to make sure we get some ink,,,,,,Am I right? or just teed off that I wasted 1.50?
GO RAMBLERS

Get out of last place, get some ink.

I do agree though, Cleveland Melvin getting a second chance in the DLeague shouldn't exactly be news ahead of Arch Madness.

Not so olden days !!
The TRIB missed it today as did the Sun Times--Internet versions. When Jauss was high wide and handsome as was LOYOLA, we received tons of publicity--not as much as DePewl and Mildkitties of course --but a share. When LUC got bad , the Trib ran to the hills and was only resurrected so to speak when Mittchell, Moser and Co got together. Our SID should have been atop of this early--Was HE ? Let us say, we have received more pub lately than for years prior--albeit they missed this one--BOTH papers.

We are getting more publicity in St Louis than in Chicago. Moser was on radio for 10 minutes a couple days ago. Fox Midwest is running preview packages on every team. People have been talking to Moser about his recruitment of the five seniors who start for SLU this year.

Leo is interim SID, yes. Hope he gets it permanently after the season.

Give me more. What is his background? Why do you want him to get the gig full time?

The lack of local media attention just goes to prove that folks in Chicago do not find the MVC all that interesting or compelling, despite what people in Kansas or Iowa think. It's hard to get excited about podunk-palooza.

What WOULD be exciting is a nice tourney win. Go Ramblers!
