Hopefully the Ramblers can get back on track after a very disappointing men's basketball exhibition yesterday. Despite the terrible performance by men's hoops, Loyola had a pretty good day yesterday, shocking 3rd place Illinois State 3-0 on their home court in women's volleyball, finishing 2nd in the MVC men's cross country championship, and 4th in the women's cross country championship.

Men's soccer beats Central Arkansas 2-0 to clinch birth in MVC Tournament. If 1st place Missouri State beats 6th place SIUE and 3rd place Bradley beats 5th place Evansville on Saturday, the Ramblers can finish in 4th place and get a home game in the first round.

Women's basketball dominates UW-Parkside in a 67-48 win. The Ramblers went into halftime with a 41-25 lead, and then began the second half with a 14-2 run. Congratulations to Sheryl Swoopes on winning her first exhibition game as a head coach.

Loyola begins the season in the pre-season WNIT next Saturday, facing Louisville.

Loyola women's soccer season ends. The Ramblers and Drake played to a 1-1 tie after two overtimes, and Drake won the game on penalty kicks, 4-2.
