I know it's very early and there is A LOT of basketball to be played. But I thought it'd be fun to track numerous projections as we approach March. I will try to keep this updated at least every Monday.

CBS/Jerry Palm has us as a 12 seed facing St. Marys (https://www.cbssports.com/college-baske ... cketology/)

BDBP has us as a 12 seed facing Auburn (https://nicktursisbestbracketperiod.weebly.com/)

ESPN/Joe Lunardi has Drake in as a 15 seed--I think he just looks briefly at the current standings when projecting mid-major auto-bids (http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket ... acketology)

Hardwood and Hollywood has us as 13 seed facing Texas Tech (http://www.hardwoodandhollywood.com/wp- ... 167440.jpg)

Bracket WAG has us as a 13 seed facing Cincy (http://www.bracketwag.com/)

Bracketville (ranked the most accurate bracketologist) has us as a 13 seed facing Texas Tech (https://bracketville.wordpress.com/bracketology/)

Scream Bowl Part 2.

To answer Swella's next question: I had a brief association of 39 years with Texas Tech. Part 1 was in the 2014 Continental Tire Classic in Las Vegas.

I will preface this as only living in dreamland while we have much work to do, BUT
Any bracket possibilities that pair us with the Shockers?
would be interesting...

Last week, Shockers were looking at a 1 or 2 seed. After consecutive losses to SMU and Houston, they are now in the 5-7 range. I can see them settling in the 4-6 seed range. If we snag a 12 or 13, then yes...very possible.

This is all contingent on being the winner on Sunday in St. Louis.

Absolutely. Still fun to track considering we haven't been able to track any sort of projection since...well...since before I was born.

If only we had healthy squads for the UW-M and ISUb games. Could be 17-2 right now and actually have an at-large chance (with a small margin of error, of course).

I'd love to match up (and beat) Wichita state, but I feel like they will eventually sneak back up to the 3 or 2 lines. We're pretty much set at 12-13 barring a regular season collapse.
