Someone at ESPN labeled him a mid major draft sleeper. Teams like his passing ability, as well as length on defense and scoring potential. Would be big for the program if he got drafted and obviously HUGE for Milt. He also worked out for the rockets.

That would be great if he could get a shot in the NBA, but it's a tough league to crack into. I was sure that Blake Shilb would get a chance, yet it never seemed to materialize.

Look at some of the old Horizon League foes that did OK in the NBA for many years--- Norris Cole... Willie Green.... No offense to those guys, but I think Milt exceeds their skills in many areas.

Milt had a ton of skills, a bunch which are small skills that add up during the course of a game,,,tipped passes, loose balls etc. Makes you wonder what Milt could have done if we had a true center some of those years....as well as a true point guard so he could have played off the ball more....but it would be big for LU if we had evidence that you could play at a mid-major and make it to the NBA.
Really hope it works out for him and his family......makes you think Europe at a minimum

I was pleasantly surprised to see that tweet since I assumed his workouts were for a potential free agent signing. Needless to say, either way it would be great for everyone involved if he can catch on with an NBA team. I guess I have to watch the draft now!

Another update on Milt's pro career (the article has an unintentional but absolutely damning quote about our roster the past 4 years):
http://hoopshd.com/2017/04/29/in-search ... ton-doyle/Also, Houston has a mid 40s pick in the 2nd round; alas, Detroit currently does not have a pick. While getting drafted might be a stretch, I believe he'll at least get a shot in the Summer League.

What am I missing? I don't see a damning quote.

I suppose he's referencing Milt's quote that he never had anyone extremely tall to pass off to on his college roster. Not so much damning as it is just the plain truth.
