I hope we fight to keep A--If PM really wants him--This will help establish who is boss in Chgo. It certainly is not NU at present.

Armon Gates has been a great recruiter for Loyola. If NU blog is mentioning him, I'd bet they've already interviewed him. We all know if NU offers him the job, there's not much PM can do to keep him.

Scout is now listing him as leading candidate. This cant be good during recruiting season and the fact that we have not replaced the first assistant we lost.

Oh please I hope not. I think he would be a great fit for them as he's one of the best up and comers in the game, but hopefully this is just fan speculation. Weren't they all quick to assume he'd be hiring Paulus back in April too?

Well...at the end of the day, money talks. Terms like "loyalty" etc...are valueless in this business. PM has certainly not been the model for team loyalty anyway.

I hope we can find a good replacement ASAP. This is not good for recruiting...

Michael Lewis, Rodell Davis, Rick Malnati, and now Armon Gates-that's a lot of turnover in two years.
