Rivals just added Roosevelt Smart's name to its list of 2016 prospects being recruited by the .....Ramblers.

This is definitely an interesting turn of events, and I don't know what to make of it. Does it reflect a recent, real-life development, or is it just some editorial thing or mindless computerized date-shuffle? I'm leaning to the latter, as Rivals also Smart scheduled to visit Loyola on 9/19/2015. He actually visited Loyola on the same date LAST year. But could it also mean that I was wrong about Smart heading for Wichita State?

I'd gladly admit I was wrong if it meant Smart signing with Loyola.

I'm guessing he is indeed reclassifying to 2016 and returning to Sunrise for a post-grad year. Until I see something otherwise, I'm assuming that the Loyola info on his page is just leftover from last year.

Let me be clear: I hope Roosevelt does what's best for him. That's all any recruit should do. I'm hoping what's best for him is not at WSU, but if it is, so be it.

That out of the way, F&*!$ these guys. Marshall, the old SCA coach, WSU, all of them. I hope karma bites them and Roosevelt chooses another school (I think SLU would be a good landing spot for him as they have 2 open scholarships and look like they could use another shooting guard). And I hope we wipe the floor with them. Really can't stand the air of moral superiority coming from such a prickly guy who's probably just as underhanded as the worst of college coaches.

It's obvious. Marshall has spent years building a close relationship with Sunrise specifically so he could steal Smart from Loyola.
