There are still transfers out there uncommitted, some that could be good fits, so I wouldn’t be shocked if one more person is added before the fall.
I completely understand the logic of pocketing it until next year. The cautionary tale to be mindful of, however, is a situation similar to what SIU went through last year. They had enough players to get through a game, but were so short on bodies at one point due to injuries that they held open tryouts and ended up grabbing a kid from the football team to give them enough players to be able to practice. Injuries happen, and you want to be able to handle a worst case scenario if it occurs. Unlike SIU, we don’t have a football team, filled with players who also were really good basketball players in high school, to possibly borrow from.
