Great pick up. Looks super athletic...we don't have too many guys that can get above the rim and dunk with authority.

I'm thinking more Krutwig in the sense he'll be a super consistent scorer in the paint that will help our shooters get open, from what I've seen in the highlights Alston is a beast in the paint on both endsDansen wrote:Feel like he ends up fitting the Aher role. At some point, you look at a local 6'7 local kid who can hit 3's, drive to the bucket and get mid-range buckets, and you make room for him. I predict he'll go to a Valpo or ISU type program, play really well and transfer up to a P6. Bucket-getters at his size don't come along everyday.Rambling0101 wrote:Martinelli doesn’t project to A-10 top tier. Mid to lower level Valley type. Great HS player though.
Let him develop at Valpo or ISU for 1-2 years then take him as a transfer. We're a big boy program now, and that's what big boy programs do with fringe prospects with the way transfers work now. It also works out better for the player. The MVC is our farm system nowgoramblers2011 wrote:At some point, you look at a local 6'7 local kid who can hit 3's, drive to the bucket and get mid-range buckets, and you make room for him. But I think you're right in that you only have so many roster spots.
