Coach Valentine was apparently in Champaign today watching the high school State tournament games that involved some of the names we’ve either offered or been looking at per this thread, including Kizer from Metamora and Barron from St. Ignatius. Metamora upset Simeon, and will play for the 3A title tomorrow against Springfield Sacred Heart Griffin, who beat St Ignatious. That Springfield SHG team has an entire starting lineup of juniors, some of whom I think could be under the radar talent. I hope Drew took notice. I’m admittedly biased, though, as that’s where I went to high school…but they do have some really, really good players.

Biased isn't necessarily bad!! All good if they can play, no reason to think they can't either.

We ABSOLUTELY MUST offer Brock Harding, a 6'0" point guard from Moline. Talk about White Chocolate!

I watched his junior season highlight video and was blown away by his quickness and slickness.

Already has 12 midmajor offers per 247Sports. We might have a chance with him because his size may scare away P5 schools.

He plays AAU ball with Ty Pence for Mid Pro Academy.

This proves two things:

1. Drew Valentine reads Ramblermania, and

2. Swella is a recruiting guru.

Going from high school to D1 at that height and... etc... is not exactly a key to success but I love your thinking as always.

Braden is 6 ft if he’s got his shoes on. If he can play he can play.
