Perhaps this is a minor signal that Krutwig is unlikely to go to OU.

If Groves is going to Oklahoma... i would assume Krutwig is not... So i'm rooting for Groves to choose the Sooners immediately.

That would be such a great fit for Groves!

The created by culture nonsense today was already too much, I can't handle Krutwig going to OU so I'm all for Groves choosing the Sooners ASAP lol. In a dream world Loyola would consistently make the tournament, and Porter would never do as well as he did at Loyola.

Should we take down the final 4 and sweet 16 banners and burn them as well? Get over it, the guy took a better job and now we have a great foundation and young coach.

Yes lets take down the banners and burn them, shut up lol. We're allowed to vent on a basketball forum about our coach of a couple weeks ago using Loyola slogans and poaching the staff. I'm over him leaving and was alright with it, but seeing that was annoying. Also not upset about Custer or Gordon leaving. Gordon always follows Porter and Custer is just getting started and OU will look great on his resume. I'm excited about the team we have currently and Valentine, but I don't see the issue with venting about Porter acting like a used car salesman.

Porter built a brand and it’s gone with him. Hardly used car salesman territory, or at least not anymore than is required for the job. Let that shit go. Nobody broke any promises to you or Loyola. And FWIW I’m not telling what you are or are not allowed to do on an Internet forum. I am telling you I think it’s irritating.

Loyola is the brand. Not Porter.

I don’t think it ever entered your mind that the “poached assistant coaches” could have turned down the job!!
