Almost passed up an opportunity to toot my own horn, thanks to Will Alcock's career game.

goramblers2011 in the preseason preposterously set the over/under for Alcock's season point total at 5. bmh twosix unwisely took the under, while savvy swella was so confident in Will he recommended to JCT that he bet the farm on the over.

It took Will all of 7 minutes in one game to almost double the over/under number.

Time, as usual, has proven swella right. Disagree with him at your peril!

Schweiger's body language after he finally left the game, and the way he was greeted by the players on the bench, supports this hypothesis, in my view.

Definitely bookmarking these predictions! I was seated next to Schweiger's dad. I didn't ask about next year, but we were saying that there was no one left to sub in for Ryan. He mused whether Drew would put Norris in for him, which is ultimately what happened.

Curse you and your bookmark!

I make long range predictions with the expectation that if they come true I can dredge them up and bask in the glory, but if they don't nobody will remember and I'll get off scott free.
