ULC not withstanding, if Stanford and Rice have him on their radar, I'm guessing he's a smart kid.

Sounds like he didn't totally look the part of a high-major guy last night in his first big game against high competition. That's good for us because he and his family are huge Illinois fans. Hopefully they pass and he ends up being a perfect fit for us.

To be seen if he has any interest in Loyola, but this is an entirely different level of recruit the staff might be targeting. Consensus top 10 in the class and #2 according to ESPN.

I don’t expect them to win this one, but if we’re starting to recruit at this level it only takes one guy to make us a destination 4 and 5 stars recruits start to seriously consider.
