Paxson Wojcik has committed today after his visit this weekend! Great grab for Porter!

Awesome. He had offers from Indiana State, Illinois State, and DePaul, among others, and was supposedly starting to get serious looks from power 5 conference schools. Can’t help but think that having Frank Agunanne already on board helped us land Wojcik. LaLu, Sunrise....We’re getting kids from and establishing great relationships with some of the best prep schools in the Country. It’s amazing to see where our recruiting is now.

Just read that his dad is Doug Wojcik, former head coach of Tulsa. So not just a coach’s son, but a pretty successful college coach’s son.

Nice article about Wojcik from earlier this year. Potentially coulda gone to a P5 program if he played out this year. Verbal commits lists him as a 2 Star but he’s a 3 when you go on Rivals or 247.

6'4" and his middle name is Walter.
What's not to like?!?

We are going to have a bunch of lefties in 2019-2020: Wojcik, Bujdoso, Krutwig, and Tate Hall. Those 4 could start as SG , PG, C and SF, respectively. If we could find one more lefty to start, that might be a college basketball first.

To answer my own question, if we sign lefty Terrence Shannon, that would complete our Sinister Starting Five.

I actually think we should use this angle to help sell Shannon on becoming a Rambler. It couldn't hurt.

When you see this kind of thing( as well as the bball factories like LeLemure) you start to think that the coaching fraternity really respects Porter and his coaching abilities...
