In looking at one of the Valpo fan boards the overall tone is similar to the tone and excitement of Ramblermania when Loyola was joining the Valley . One poster had to take a swipe at Loyola when it was mentioned that the MVC " botched " the replacement of Creighton . The Crusaders have a four year deal with Indiana State which creates an opening in their schedule to play Butler , Oakland , etc.

Go-Mo is usually right as he is in the SW posting !! It used to be fun ragging on Green Bush and the rest of the Horizon--IT WAS GOOD NATURED !! But being tied in with this present bunch of losers and those who never were is truly hard ! Valpo and LUC will be the best in this League for a long time.
None in the Valley have really succeeded as we have. Most have a history of being somewhat decent to good --Byrd and ISU and others--except for Missouri State which to my knowledge has won nothing and Bradley which has a scandal blot on its history. So Ill had some decent years with a star , Frazier . The rest ?? Blah !! and nothing !! I would give the Aces a pass because of the plane disaster--GOOD GRIEF !! the vitriol and poison which flows from these never "weres"
