For what it’s worth we’ve been mentioned with Saint Thomas for a while now.

Great find Dansen and really encouraging; Schweiger looks like a great kid to bring in.

Is Porter poaching our recruits?
Alston Mason, who we offered recently, just followed Emanuel Dildy on Twitter. Dildy was just hired by Porter to be an assistant at OU.

I think Tate is done. So, if "some" are coming back, I assume that means 2, maybe 3. I think Clemons is most likely to return. Then, 1 or 2 of Lucas/Krut/Uguak will be back. Just my speculation.

It’s interesting, one of the last threads of hope I was hanging onto Friday was based on PM liking a tweet by Ben Richardson hyping up this recruit (understandable, since they went to the same high school). That was after PM liked a tweet about an Oklahoma player a day or two earlier. It’s tough to accurately read the tea leaves based off of Twitter likes, but it seems clear now from those two that Oklahoma was on his radar days before he finally left, and he clearly likes the Mason kid. So, yes, I think he very well could try to get him to Oklahoma.

Not surprising. I’ve understood that Porter has the connections in that part of the world and was the primary guy for Ben/Clay/Coop, and likely Montel James/Earl Peterson too. Definitely has some Mokan/BVNW connections, as we’ve been involved with a few guys that didn’t end up coming here out of that region the last few years

Aside from some of the seniors, it's important to note that Coach Valentine was involved in recruiting most of the guys on the team. Initially, I thought Keith would be the only that would likely return. But I'd say there is more than a 50% chance that Aher and Lucas also stick around for one more year. The core of the team is also going to stay put.
We'll be top 3 in the valley next year and I wouldn't be surprised if we make the tournament again.

I am hearing the following (not all are 100% confirmed):
1) Ben S is committed. (Confirmed)
2) TY Johnson is committed. (Not 100%, but close based on where info came from)
3) Lucas is a big fan of Valentine's and is coming back. (not 100%)
4) Aher is coming back (not 100%)
5) Krut is not coming back.
Valentine was the main point of contact and recruiting for several recruits, including TY Johnson. TY's mother really likes the school and is always wearing LU gear! My hope is that Valentine has built up a good relationship with the kids we have been recruiting and will be able to keep them whether they are class of 2021 or 2022. I also noticed that after PM was out the door, we have continued to offer kids. I wonder if PM and Valentine maybe had a differing of opinion on some of these kids and now that Valentine is in charge he is going after kids that PM would not.
