Put up 17.6 PPG and has some size for a guard (6'7). Shoots from deep at around 35%. Was one of the better FT shooters in the country last year. Interested how he projects on the defensive side of the ball.

I assume either way it's pronounced "tie" (short for Tyler?). Does he capitalize the Y just for fun? Or is it "T-Y" like TY (sometimes T.Y.) Hilton?

Same, but He always capitalizes it, and Dave Kaplan and company were calling him T-Y during the broadcast of the chipotle games, so I assume it’s T-Y

Yes!!! Avila is a MAJOR talent and seems to be on the Rambler band wagon. I’d love to see him in Gentile; rec specs and all, he’d be a legit huge get.

And I’m pretty sure it’s “T.Y.” Johnson based on some of his highlight tapes.
