Lewis to Nevada. I’m not sure they even send coaches to visit with high school players.

One name to keep an eye on for a last minute commitment is Jared Harper of Pebblebrook (GA). We’ve had some coaches call him apparently.

Why would we want this guy when we have Kennedy coming in, and Budjoso as a sophomore?

I imagine if we’re still looking for a PG, probably because I think Kennedy is more of a combo guard than a pure point. I may be wrong but I see Kennedy as a lankier Marques Townes in the future. Can still create but not a pure point

Kennedy definitely strikes me as a combo guard who will excel at attacking the basket much like Townes. My guess is we look to the JUCO ranks to get a quick twitch point guard next year to give Isaiah some help. We historically haven't had many JUCO guards in years past, outside of Tyson Smith and Earl Peterson (who I really liked in his time here)

David Sloan, Javion Hamlet, and Malik Curry are the top 3 available JUCO points according to this site: https://www.jucorecruiting.com/2019-juc ... 0-rankings

I suppose it would make sense if we’re not going to use Kennedy as a true point guard. The way budjoso plays, I like him in that point guard position next year, as he seems to be able to handle the ball, but it’s not that much of an offense of threat. We are definitely going to need SOMEBODY to back him up next year if he and Kennedy aren’t going to share the point guard duties next year.

I think I would be more comfortable with a JUCO kid coming in to run point next year than a freshmen though.

His numbers scoring numbers aren't eye popping at just 12 a game; but the efficiency is at 54.7% overall, 47.1% from beyond the arc, to go with 6 assists. Sometimes at JUCO's you get guys trying to "get there's". Based on stats and Navarros record (17-1) seems like a team first point who can still shoot when needed.
