Tired legs, but the hearts woke up and got the win. Lucas Williamson won that game with about 5 minutes left, IMHO. Huge rebound, followed by a big drive and kick that resulted in a big 3, then hits a huge three. Flipped the game. That kid is so underrated with all he does for this team.

Get ready to drop to 18 or 20 in KenPom. That was a feeakin' disaster. That might have dropped us a seed. Three points more and we'd be on the bubble.

Let's hope we don't have to see them in arch madness again. They are a dangerous team.

Well that sucked. We did not deserve to win and we were saved by the refs on a very ticky tacky call. Valpo got jobbed tonight and should have won.

Positive were Clemons keeping us afloat and Kaifes looking like his old self for a stretch. That’s about it.

Rest up guys and hit the gym after a break because that was first round loss at arch madness level play tonight.

Goodness, we need to find our offense. Thankfully we made some threes. Great game by Cooper off the bench. Norris's minutes way down in the second half. I think teams have figured out that they can push him around a little bit--on offense and on defense. When he's out there, he needs to take the open shots he gets and figure out something to do when he drives other than loop around and not accomplish anything. Recently he'd made a few mid-range shots. He need to keep taking those.

Totally soft foul on Valpo to seal it. But we needed a little close game luck.

ETA: Why are we so deliberate getting into our offense in these close/late situations? We get a small lead (great!), get a stop (great!!), then walk it up the court and mess around for 15-20 seconds before dumping it to Krut and looking around for something to do(??). There has to be a balance between wasting time and wasting a possession.

None of that really matters. Losing would have been a disaster, but we won.

Back-to-back bad offensive games. Hope we can use these 10 days to rest the legs, fix the offense and be ready to make a run.

Was surprised to see Norris get more play in the final 4 minutes than Quise. Perhaps for the ballhandling/press breaking? Either way, I'd be livid if I was a Valpo fan. That foul on their rebound put back was very questionable....despite whatever Kaplan was saying.

Bull. (A) that was a foul; and (B) Valpo got a huge gift with two points that should’ve been waived off because of obvious basket interference.

Refs weren’t great, but they didn’t win or lose the game for either team overall.

Hey, we won. We look gassed and a little burnt out. We got win and now we can rest, recharge, practice and get back to where we were.

Agreed on the missed goal tend earlier but that was a very very soft foul at the end. We will have to agree to disagree on that.

On a positive note, we are still 10 at kenpom.
