177 to 107??? 284 points in 40 min equals about 7 points per min...assuming no missed shots...
Was this a half court game or maybe two basketballs at same time.
Better yet maybe they did pop a shot.....
Coaches have to be embarrassed...

Is it bad that the most glaring thing to me was that Illinois State gave up 107 points?

I would love to see a replay of this game. They must have both just been letting each other to the rim without any attempts to stop the other.

I watched A few minutes of the second half, it was a complete joke. No defense was played on either side. ISU was throwing down so many dunks and just having fun.

Aren't we still scheduled to play Chicago State on Dec. 9th? The UIC game would be the 13th, I believe, and then we have nothing until the 30th. Need to get some games scheduled and published so we can get a better idea of our prospects (Chicago State game is listed on CSU's official schedule, but we've yet to release ours-- game is not listed on KenPom and other sites).
I think you're right.

So they were playing a socially distanced defense?

Out for the year. Sounds like the same injury Kaifes had last year. Hate seeing that. He is a hell of a talent and brought a lot of national eyes to the Valley. Really hope he fully recovers and comes back next year to showcase his talent before making the jump to the pros.

Man, that’s a tough break for the kid (not to mention the UNI program). Have to wonder what’s going through his mind about his future. Hopefully Kaifes comes back strong this year, and is a good sign for Green’s future.

I find it odd that the Panther Nation message board doesn't mention Green being out for the year. Couldn't find any other internet mentions either.
What's your source?

Edit: I found the MVCFans post from BCPanther. He isn't quite as definitive about Green being out for the year but does say it's likely he'll have season-ending surgery for an injured hip labrum.
