Well we've definitely been dealt a kick in the teeth. Should try to make it our goal to cut it to ten before the 10 minute mark, and try to whittle away at their lead. This game just got away from us. this one will be a bit of a setback if we don't make a run quick.

First 7 minutes they gave us a chance to get back into the game but we can't buy a bucket

This is an embarrassing performance so far.

Nothing has went right for us today. We turned the ball over way too much, and we have not been able to buy a shot from the three point line... I'm just hoping that we don't completely give up in the last ten minutes and at least put a decent showing together to finish the game. This one is a bit of a disappointment.

They really, really keyed in on Jackson. 1-for-9 from the field, three turnovers. When has he ever had that stat line?

Can't get a shot to fall. We're looking like a team that will have to find ways to win games when the shooting isn't there. I also think we really miss Custer today. We need someone on the court to take some charge and keep everyone in check. Such a disappointing game to finish the non-conference season.

I would advise to keep this in perspective. Your best player (in my opinion) is Custer. Everything runs through him on offense and today you see the inability for players to get their shots and lack of spacing/crisp passing. This will be a major problem until he comes back.

Just a terrible shooting day. Wide open shots weren’t going in.

Time to take a breath, forget about polls, at-large talk, yada yada, and get after it in conference.

Also... the announcers just said Negron was hurt pregame. Anyone have any details on that?

Don't know about Negron. Good to see Ben was out of the cast. Maybe he will play on Friday.

During handshakes Negron was walking with crutches.
