As of yesterday 247 is now predicting that Marquis Kennedy will join fellow Illinois Wolves Paxson Wojcix and Tom Welch at LUC. The guy who made the prediction Sean Bock is 9/9 with his previous predictions for 247.

I'm happy about this commitment. Good for the guy for staying in the Chicago area. I feel bad for all those kids who leave town to go to school in a cornfield when they don't really have to. And for Loyola, it's great to get a 3-star combo who seems to fit right in to what we do, both in terms of academics and basketball.

Love to see this! Love that all three of the Illinois Wolves will get to keep playing together, and this commitment makes quite a statement about who the premier CBB team in Illinois is at the moment. 2 of the top 6 players in the state will be Ramblers!!!

There's two words to describe Marquise Kennedy: "RISING STAR".

Wow. Love this class. Three top tier players all from the same AAU team! This is the kind of recruiting that leads to sustained success. Do we still have one spot open?

While this is certainly subject to change 247 currently rates our 2019 recruiting class as #15 in the country and we still have one scholarship left. We are sandwiched in-between Kansas who just got Christian Braun today and North Carolina. That's some esteemed company. Rivals has us ranked #26 in the country tied with Penn State. Still a top 30 recruiting class would be the best LUC has had in a long time.
