Bertram heads to Charlotte

I liked Bertram but we need more of a pure point guard who is quick and can get to the hoop. I really was impressed with what I saw on the mixtape of Andre Gordon. I'd be happy with him or Kennedy.

Yeah, good for the kid, hopefully it’s a good fit for him. I wasn’t too high on him either, have felt like for months we end up with Andre Gordon, just seems to fit our recruiting, I like his size.

Like Swella said, wouldnt mind Kennedy either

Given that he's a local kid I'm really hoping for Kennedy. He's also shown a knack for blocking shots and rebounding at a high level with his long wingspan which is a big plus given he's not the tallest guard (6'1).

That said Gordon looks great as well and either would be a huge addition. I suppose the team could add both. From what I can tell they both fit more of the combo guard mold.

Something to keep an eye on in the next few days. Marquise Kennedy visits Wichita State this weekend. If he leaves there without a commitment he will visit LUC next weekend.

Well, only thing from Kennedy this weekend was some pictures of him on the WSU court in one of their uniforms... Hopefully he has a good visit in Rogers Park.

That's about as good of news as we could have received.

This is when you have to love being last (at least for now). Redbird fans aren't too confident in their chances; Wichita is stiff competition but overall we're in a great spot. If they can get Wojcik and Welch on campus this weekend as well and seal the deal... Man, what a class.
