Because students will only take so many losses before staying inside their heated residence hall sounds like the better option. Winning culture and winning percentage are two different things to be sure, but two different things that go hand-in-hand. It's not the answer a lot of people like, but I think if we're honest its the right one.
Having made many trips from Mertz Hall to Gentile while a student (many at 1:00am because of a fire alarm), the whole 60 seconds outside (less if you run) is no excuse. Or all of 3 or 4 minutes from the South end residence halls. I was thinking of driving up for Saturday's game. Maybe I'll have my own section.

Aside--every time I get excited about a Thomas and-1 I have to remind myself he doesn't make free throws.

We pulled within one so many times...and then choke when we have a chance to take the lead. So pathetic.

Higher quality competition maybe. What exactly is the difference between this Indiana State team and last year's Detroit team? We didn't just join the ACC and Larry Bird isn't suiting up. There's nothing that sexy about Indiana State.

I'm sharing my section with 4 other people. The attendance is pathetic but I'm enjoying the game. Ramblers are playing hard. Sloppy...but hard.

The fact remains that zone is for cowards, but I gotta say our D is looking better this half. We've (mostly) cut down on their open 3 shots and we're generating some steals. Take us home, Milton.

A long 2 from Crismann is exactly the type of high-efficiency shot I wanna see with 30 seconds left.[/sarcasm]

Truly craptacular. Did you see how mad Doyle was that he took that shot?

Another game finished like a team full of freshman and sophomores. Normally that would be an excuse, but with as many minutes as they've played, they shouldn't be playing like freshmen and sophomores anymore.

We lose

Why !! Boards and freebies--Osborne is all we have down low--Christian MUST grow four inches by Saturday--He is so good but too darn small.

Best team on the floor--ISU
Best player on the floor--DOYLE

We are now at the frustrating time--We dd all but win !!

Gosh I hope we do not pack it in .. Just keep plugging away.

Real bottom line--We win if we hit our freebies--ISU was fortunate this night.
