When's the last time we had a season ending knee? Negron or did he get hurt in high school? Tyson Smith? Courtney Stanley?

I'm probably forgetting someone obvious.

Well - Drew's contention that he has "10 starters" is really going to get tested. And if he is right - then we should be able to overcome these brutal injuries to some degree. Unfortunately, if I were to pick one player other than Miles that we could not do without....it would be Justin. He certainly hasn't been consistent so far this year (and was having a particularly tough game agains SF), but he is our only true PG and best creator for others. JQ is terrific in his own way and will do a good job in his place, but he doesn't have JM's handle or ability to create for others. And with additional minutes, we need to be concerned about JQs propensity for silly turnovers and unnecessary fouls. He is really going to have to clean up his game and stay on the floor.

The silver lining to the injuries is that Drew will be forced to shorten the rotation and increase the minutes for 7-8 guys. Again - it may not be the 7-8 players that we want to have the increased minutes, but in general it will be a good thing, I have been on this topic all year: too many substitutions, too many short shifts, no continuity building with any specific group of 5.

As pointed out, the other silver lining is the 2 freshman will get more minutes, and hopefully Danili won't continuing playing so scared. These 2 freshman are talented - and there are freshman contributing to teams all over the country. The best thing that could happen with these injuries is that one of them (or both!) force their way into the rotation. But it's not going to happen if they play in 60 second spurts and get pulled every time they make mistake. Don't make them look over their shoulder Drew - Let em play.

Wow. Yeah - Bradley is irritating Every year they find a way to negatively impact us. Love him or hate him, their coach is terrific. They always outperform their talent level. Doesn't hurt that Bradley was able to schedule SF at home.
