DeVries just hired at West Virginia. So much turnover in the MVC this year, especially if Schertz ends up at SLU (or elsewhere). Will be interesting to see who emerges as the next dominant Valley program.

SIU is now approaching 3 weeks, and multiple rumored rejections, since firing BM. The rumor now is they might hire Wright State coach Scott Nagy. Which means they will move from Bryan Mullins, a young coach who averaged over 20 wins the last two years in the MVC, to an older coach who averaged less than 20 wins the last two years in the Horizon League. And the two year timeline is important, IMO, given the changes in transfers and NIL compared to before then. If that is indeed what happens, there is no way that is what they planned to happen, and I would think many in Saluki nation will be questioning a lot of things in Carbondale (moreso than usual).
