Has anyone been to Porkschops for their 50% pregame discount? Would love to hear a recent review!

Truly one of the worst-reviwed restaurants I've ever seen. The only thing I can compare it to is the Twitter reviews of Drew's coaching.

Wonder if they are still on the hook for their LU basketball sponsorship commitment! "The official pregame sport for Loyola basketball"

Has anyone checked out Randall's Pub on Clark/Devon (https://www.randallspubchicago.com/)? Looks like it opened in 2022. Only drinks served there, but they have a Loyola flag hanging and seems like a decent spot. Obviously not as short of a walk to Gentile as Bulldog's or Hamilton's/63's/Porkchop but might be an OK option.

Found your answer.
Not sponsored or anything, but I do highly recommend subscribing to Block Club for local/neighborhood news. Always good content in the neighborhood newsletters I subscribe to.

That's too bad. I ate their a few times, and although a tad expensive, the food was pretty darn good.

Obviously the area desperately needs that place to be a successful bar/restaurant... Considering I live a 5-minute walk from that spot, it would be nice!!

OH yes Standees...and then on to the Sovereign... BUt we went to Hello Thai for a pre-game meal on Wednesday. Just across Sheridan/Broadway on Devon. Very fresh, very good and nice people. NO booze but if you are just looking for a spot for a spot to meet friends and have a meal b4 the game was really good...I had the spicy, crazy noodles with chicken..hit the spot.
